Our GFS course ‘Practical application of IEC 61511’ was held at Trinity Hotel & Conference in Fredericia with all participants contributing with relevant inputs and comments in the discussions. GFS and Sr. Functional Safety Engineer Mikael Lund have been engaged as Technical Authority for Instrumentation at Maersk FPSOs. Upon request or demand GFS will provide input with regards to control, systems and instrumentation in relation to internal Maersk FPSOs projects.
Work Order signed for our engagement in Maersk FPSOs’ production unit Volve on the jack-up rig Inspirer off the coast of Stavanger, Norway. The project will involve a F&G detection review as well as the implementation of Functional Safety Management.
GFS just initiated the planning and coordination activities related to the implementation of an FSM Plan for a Maersk FPSO in Aberdeen, Scotland.
