FS Conference ’23

We had the privilege to host the 4th Functional Safety Conference
– after years with COVID-19 and a subsequent boom in the industry.

Although this year’s conference, was very different from the conferences held in 2015, 2017 and 2019 with only 1 day and 1 common track with both Machinery- and Process Safety and a much smaller exhibition area, it was a huge success.

We appreciate all the positive feedback from the participants, who represented no less than 35 companies

We had 7 magnificent speakers: David Hatch from Wolters Kluwer Enablon, Alberto Martinez from ProjectBinder, Thomas Hoffmeyer from Rambøll Energy, Tomas Bro from ELTRONIC Fueltech, Josse Brys from HIMA, Colin Easton from EFSTAS and Stefan Lynge Christensen from Energinet all shared their knowledge, reality and their views on future trends and risks for the benefit of making Functional Safety understood and approachable.

The breaks was used for networking and good discussions with the 5 exhibitors: ABB, Geopal, DotBlue (former Global Functional Safety), Kairos and Wolter Kluwer. Unfortunately, EFSTAS was not able to attend the conference except for the online presentation.

We would like to thank all speakers, all participants and all exhibitors for participating in making the event a success. Without you, Functional Safety will remain a standard and not a tool for improving safety.

FS Conference’23 was held at Roskilde Congress Center, on Thursday 4th May 2023

EVENT ORGANIZER

About DotBlue
As the organizer of this event, we want to put an end to the often lack of understanding or lack of safety standards within the machine- and process industry.

Low prioritization, lack of proposed solutions or difficulties in understanding procedures and the authorities’ requirements. In addition, some companies operate with overqualified security solutions that require unnecessary and expensive maintenance. Due to missing or non-existent safety standards / procedures, accidents can occur, accidents that could easily have been prevented.

Bringing together experts from leading companies enables us to highlight the topics that present the greatest challenges to end users. In collaboration with experts and authorities, we will answer questions and contribute tools for solutions that the participants can bring home to their companies.

DotBlue strives to make Functional Safety tangible and puts the importance in focus!
